Yeah, we know it’s cold and dreary out there – but there is much happening in the upcoming days to make your week warm and happy! You can help Brooklyn Pride kick off its 2015 festivities at Wheated, win free drinks at Shane & Ruth’s Music Trivia Night at Bar Chord, watch Israeli dance at Temple Beth Emeth, and more.
Also! We wanted to let you know that there will be a special knish-making workshop at Temple Beth Emeth (83 Marlborough Road, by Church Avenue) this Saturday, January 10, at 1:30pm – but you need to sign up for it before Thursday, January 8. Laura Silver, author of “Knish: In Search of the Jewish Soul Food,” will give a family-friendly workshop about the art of knish making from 1:30-4pm in the temple’s banquet room. Admission is $10 for an individual and $20 for an adult. To register, please email Melissa at M.scottvideo@gmail.com with your name and how many adults/children you are bringing.
