Thing For Kids To Do In Southern Brooklyn: Comic Book Making, Get Up & Go, Weekend Walks
It’s a week of new beginnings in Southern Brooklyn! Have you signed your kids up for Get Up and Go, yet? The free City Parks Foundation program kicks off this week with fitness activities at Calvert Vaux and Seth Low Parks. Brooklyn Public Library has also kicked off their popular Ready, Set, Kindergarten Series, a 6-week program of stories and songs to get the litle ones ready for school. On Sunday, take the kids to the first ever 18th Avenue Weekend Walks — details are still in the works, but if it’s anything like Summer Stroll on 3rd, it is sure to be a hit with the kids.
