Thieves Threaten Victim With Guns During Mid-Day Robbery, Cops Say
Police say that a young man was threatened with guns during mid-day robbery that occurred in September on Avenue W.
According to cops, a 20-year-old man was approached by the two suspects at 3:45pm on September 24 at the corner of Avenue W and East 24th Street. Both robbers told the victim that they had guns, police say. One of the suspects searched the young man’s book bag while the other took his cellphone and wallet, according to the NYPD. The suspects then fled.
Police describe the suspects as one black and one hispanic man and provided surveillance photos.
