Thieves Target Victim At Sheepshead Bay Stop & Shop
SHEEPSHEAD BAY – The NYPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the two suspects seen in the below photos in connection to a recent theft at a supermarket.
At approximately 5:15pm on Sunday October 1 at the Stop & Shop located at 1710 Avenue Y, the male suspect reportedly grabbed a 35-year-old woman’s luggage and placed it inside a shopping cart that his female accomplice was pushing, according to police. The two then exited the store and fled in a gray Honda SUV. Among the personal items inside the victim’s luggage were 3 credit cards and a cell phone.
Police describe the two suspects as follows:
Suspect 1 – a light-skinned man, last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, a white shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
Suspect 2 – a light-skinned woman, last seen wearing a blue sweater and dark-colored pants.
