There’s Still Time to Gather Your Co-workers and Run a Brooklyn 5K

Bring the office to the park for a fun, teambuilding event that strengthens community in Brooklyn and promotes health in the workplace. There’s still time to register for the inaugural Just Energy BROOKLYN RUNS 5K, on October 11 at 5 p.m., brought to you by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.

Proceeds from the run will support the mission of the Chamber to promote a healthy and robust business environment throughout Brooklyn. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Prospect Park Alliance, the nonprofit organization that cares for the park. The race will be followed by an awards ceremony and reception in the LeFrak Center at Lakeside.

The run is open to individuals and groups of employees from organizations around the five boroughs. Employees who don’t want to run with their company can just register to attend the after party at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside and network with the Brooklyn business community. You do not have to be a Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce member to join the run. Brooklyn Chamber members will receive discounted pricing for each available tier.
