Here’s a look at what you’ll see in a few years where there’s now a McDonald’s. The lot with the fast food restaurant on the corner of 4th Avenue and 1st Street sold for $14.8M over the summer, and today Curbed spotted the rendering for the 75-unit rental building that will be going up there.

Designed by ODA Architecture and a project of Adam America Real Estate Investment and Silverstone Property Group, the building, which will have a roof deck, private gym, tenant lounge, and 6,000-square-feet of commercial space on the ground floor, is a far cry from the golden arches, but looks like it’ll fit right in with the condos that have been shooting up along Marty Markowitz’s “Brooklyn Boulevard.”

With changes to traffic aimed at improving safety, new schools, and increasing breakfast options, do you think 4th Avenue is becoming a place where more people want to live?
