‘The Mysteries Of Laura’ Filming On 5th Avenue

The new NBC television series The Mysteries of Laura is back filming in the neighborhood today.

The show, which stars Debra Messing (Smash, Will & Grace) as a homicide detective “who can handle murderous criminals but not her hell-raising twin children,” according to Deadline and Josh Lucas (The Firm, Sweet Home Alabama) as her captain and soon-to-be ex-husband.

The show filmed in the neighborhood a year ago, taking over the Poly Prep Lower School on Prospect Park West.

Crews will be out today, Monday, March 9, along 5th Avenue between Flatbush Avenue and Sterling Place, and along Bergen Street between 4th Avenue and Flatbush Avenue. If you find your car has been relocated, contact Randy at 347-683-3841.
