It’s that time of year again! The Kensington Youthmarket (Fort Hamilton Parkway between E. 4th and E. 5th Streets) will launch this Saturday, July 11, bringing locally grown produce to our neighborhood.

The market will be held from 8am-4pm every Saturday through November 21.

Run in partnership with Family Cook productions, a nonprofit that promotes nutritional education, the market sells fruit, veggies and more from numerous farms around the state, including Davenport Farms, Hoeffner Farms, Mead Orchards, Migliorelli Farm, Prospect Hill Orchards, Reeves Farms, and others (see the full list here). In addition to the produce, the market also features regular cooking demonstrations by Family Cook’s Teen Iron Chefs.

The market accepts cash, EBT cards, debit cards, credit cards, WIC checks, and FMNP checks.
