The Greenmarket Report: Is Spring Here Yet?

It’s been great to see some young spring greens and flowers popping up for sale at the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket, but it seems you have to get there pretty early to nab any. Have you had any luck, or seen any signs of spring at the Greenmarket?

Over at the Park Slope Farmers’ Market tomorrow, Maura & Nuccia is now a full-time vendor through the winter, so you will see them each week with their authentic Italian artisan desserts.

Also, if you’re looking for a job, Down to Earth Markets, which runs the Sunday Farmers’ Market, is hiring a NYC market manager to oversee operations and generally be the face of the market.

The GAP Greenmarket runs Saturdays from 8am-4pm at Grand Army Plaza. The Park Slope Farmers Market runs Sundays from 10am-4pm along 4th Street at 5th Ave.
