It’s all about finding a great gift for those foodies on your list this weekend at our local markets:

At the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket on Saturday, December 14, in addition to all the wintertime veggies in abundance like brussels sprouts, parsnips, broccoli, and potatoes, you’ll find some great gift ideas. They’ll have Greenmarket merch like veggie-themed mugs, tea towels, recipe greeting cards and baby bibs designed by Claudia Pearson, as well as the kale tote bag shown above and reusable GrowNYC bags.

If you can’t make up your mind, they also sell Greenmarket Tokens, available in increments of $5, that can be used with most farmers at any Greenmarket across the city.

Then on Sunday, December 15, check out the Park Slope Farmers Market for more gift ideas, like sweets from day vendor Raaka Chocolate, unique spreads from The Peanut Principal, or the Holiday Simmer Sauce Gift Pack from Calcutta Kitchens, a box that contains one of each of their two sauces with recipe cards, which could help get someone you love to serve up a delicious Indian meal — let’s just hope they share it with the gift-giver.

The GAP Greenmarket runs Saturdays from 8am-4pm at Grand Army Plaza. The Park Slope Farmers Market runs Sundays from 10am-4pm along 4th Street at 5th Ave.
