The Great Escape

If you’re looking for something to do today that’s fun, educational, and different, head down to Brooklyn Bridge Park today from 2-5pm for “The Great Escape.” The Old Stone House and Village Community Boathouse will conduct a reenactment of Glover’s Marblehead regiment in one of the most surprising moments of the American Revolutionary War. The “Marvelous Men from Marblehead” were historically a racially integrated unit and reenactors will depict many aspects of maritime history, camp life and community.
