The big, long-stalled construction site at 900-902 Coney Island Avenue above Domino’s was schedule to go up for public auction yesterday in a foreclosure but the sale was cancelled at the last minute. No specific reason for the cancellation was given to us.

According to court records, the approximate amount of the lien is $4,422,635.40, plus interest and costs. According to estimates on Property Shark, the 2011/2012 market value is $1,596,000, and the net assessed value is $718,200.

Lots of people are wondering what will happen here because, let’s be honest, this is nobody’s favorite building on Coney Island Avenue. We’ll keep you updated on the status of the building as more information becomes available.
