Good morning, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.
The heat wave is finally over and today’s high is expected to be around 84 degrees, but the National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch from today into Friday afternoon. Periodic precipitation will start sometime after 11 a.m. and could result in flooding if the weather is slow moving or if multiple storm lines pass through the area. We sure hope you’re able to stay dry today, locals. In pet news, Clinton Hill residents rallied to find Bagel, a blogging parrot that escaped over the weekend, DNAinfo reported. The Congo African Grey parrot was found by neighbors after a search party formed over email and several social media websites. Bagel is no stranger to the Internet, with her own Tumblr and hundreds of followers on both Facebook and Instagram.
