Good morning, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

Hopefully you all had a great Fourth of July and are gearing up for an even better Saturday and Sunday. How are you spending your holiday weekend, locals? If you head out to Fort Greene Park to enjoy the summer weather, don’t forget to take photos and upload them to The Nabe’s Flickr group.

For those of you looking to use the G train this weekend, keep in mind that subway service will be partially shut down for Hurricane Sandy repairs. The Greenpoint Avenue, 21 Street and Court Square stops will close and be replaced by two shuttle bus routes that link with the Nassau Avenue G station, via Manhattan Avenue, and the Lorimer Street L station, via McGuinness Boulevard. For more information and updates on the 12 weekend shutdowns, visit the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s website.
