Good morning, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

You’ll see summer-like temperatures in the nabe for the rest of the week, with highs in the ’80s – but don’t forget your umbrella today because there’s still a chance of showers.

Transportation was on the mind for some of you as you walked around the neighborhood yesterday. We spotted a photo of the newly installed Citi Bikes, as well as a new sign at the Clinton-Washington G train station reminding passengers to move to the middle of the platform to board the short train.

Whether you’re commuting around the neighborhood by bike, train, bus or on foot, be sure to take photos on the way and post them to The Nabe’s Flickr group.

A new building called the Duggal Greenhouse just opened at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, The New York Daily News reported. The building is the new home for Duggal Energy Solutions, a company focused on handling global electricity, water and agriculture concerns. The building was previously “an asbestos-filled monstrosity,” as the paper called it, but now it is home to new green technology. One example is the Lumi-Solair, an off-grid solar powered streetlamp already used at the Charlotte Airport, Monmouth County courthouse and Atlantic City boardwalk.
  • Food trucks are expected to come to the Barclays Center this Saturday, according to a post on the Atlantic Yards Report. At a 78th Precinct Community Council meeting, Arena Community Affairs Manager Terence Kelly said that beginning on Saturday, the arena would host food trucks once a month, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. He did not specify whether the trucks would be placed on the plaza or the street lanes next to it. Although he said that the effort would be run by the same promotors who handle the Grand Army plaza food truck rally, he noted that there will be fewer trucks than at that event.
  • If you are looking for a dance performance to attend in the neighborhood, the Church of St. Luke & St. Matthew, located on Clinton Avenue between Fulton and Atlantic Avenues, offers one such opportunity tonight, tomorrow and Friday. “Wonder,” a new dance created and performed by dancer Michelle Boulé with sound by Carmine Covelli and lighting by Natalie Robin, focuses on the theme of paying attention to how we see. The performance runs from 8 to 10 p.m. each day and costs $10 per ticket.
