The Church Avenue Street Fair Is Sunday, April 27

Save the date on your calendars, Ditmas Park! Church Avenue BID Executive Director Lauren Elvers Collins announced at last week’s Community Board 14 meeting that this year’s Church Avenue Street Fair will be held on Sunday, April 27 from 12-6pm.

Here’s a look at this year’s festivities, to be held from Coney Island Avenue to Argyle Road, via the Church Avenue BID:

​​12:00 – 12:15 ​Belly Dancing by Diane Hutchinson
​12:00 – 1:00 ​$1 Food Samples from local Restaurants! Including Lar​k, Shayna’s, Am Thai, The Dogwood, Nine Chains, ​Richie Rich, Wheated, and Anarkali.
​1:00 – 2:00 ​Island Style Caribbean Fashion Show – Not to be ​missed! At Church ​Ave. & Coney Island Ave.​
​2:15 – 2:45 ​Martial Arts Demo by Shihan Alfred DiGrazia
​2:45 – 3:45 ​Zumba with Wendy Ann Powell
​4:00 – 4:15 ​Children’s Concert by Children’s Corner​

The fair will also feature rides, outdoor dining, pet photography and adoptions, demonstrations and literature from the FDNY, goods including bikes by Brooklyn Mayd​, and more.
