ABC drama The Black Box has reserved a substantial amount of parking for filming around the neighborhood later this week, according to signs posted. Filming is scheduled to take place both this Thursday, February 13 and Friday, February 14 on both sides of these blocks:

• Rugby Road from Beverley to Cortelyou Road (both sides)
• Beverley Road from Argyle to Marlborough Road (both sides)
• Cortelyou Road from E 16th Street to E 17th Street (both sides)
• E 16th Street just north and south of Cortelyou (both sides)

And one side each of these blocks:

• E 17th Street just north and south of Cortelyou (West side only)
• Argyle Road from Dorchester to Beverley Road (East side only)
• Cortelyou Road from E 17th Street to E 18th Street (South side only)

This isn’t the first time The Black Box has visited the neighborhood–the show also filmed in Ditmas Park in October and December of last year, and has already posed some parking issues for neighbors. The show stars Kelly Reilly as Elizabeth Black, a successful neuroscientist struggling with mental illness, and Vanessa Redgrave as her psychiatrist.

Neighbors are asked to move their cars by 10pm Wednesday night. If your car is towed, call the NYPD Tow Pound at 311–or just take extra pains to not get your car towed this time, because we’re not sure how reliable 311 and the tow pound are in comparison to location managers on more modest shoots.

Letters posted say production will release any unused parking to the public. Click the photo below to learn more about exact shoot locations and times.
