It’s a beautiful day outside, South Slope, and whether you’re spending it in your own backyard, enjoying 7th Heaven, or running around Prospect Park, it’s the one Sunday a year that is all about Dad.
In honor of Father’s Day, we asked several local papas our question of the day: What is the best thing about being a dad?
“It gives you something to look forward to when you come home from work,” said Chris, with his daughters Maddy and Carolina.
“Caring about someone more than yourself,” Andrew smiled, as he looked down at his son, Owen.
Daniel couldn’t decide on just one thing, but the proud twinkle in his eyes when his daughter, Cecilia, spelled her name for us left little doubt that this little girl is at the center of his universe.
