Thanksgiving In The Slope: Where To Eat Out On Turkey Day
Whether you’re looking for a place to bring the whole family or just looking for a spot to have a quiet, but still traditional, meal, several restaurants around the Slope will be open and serving Thanksgiving dinners on Thursday, November 28. Here are some of the options – but remember, if you’d like to make a reservation, you should do it soon!

Thanksgiving hours: Seatings at 2:30pm, 4:30pm, 6:30pm
Highlights: It’s the 26th annual all-you-can-eat buffet, which includes corn chowder, au gratin potatoes, traditional turkey, smoked brisket, and more.
Cost: $29.95 per person, $14.50 per child under 12
A.O.C. Bistro

Thanksgiving hours: Opens at 3:30pm
Highlights: Pumpkin soup with white truffle, roasted turkey with veal and chestnut stuffing, and more.

Highlights: The three-course menu includes choices like a shaved fennel salad with apples, blue cheese, and candied walnuts, a Scottish pheasant stew, a sous vide turkey breast and smoked turkey leg, a 45-day dry-aged porterhouse for two, and a brown sugar pecan bread pudding.

Brooklyn Pub

Thanksgiving hours: 3pm – ?
Highlights: It’s a family-style feast with our friends at Brooklyn Pub. Look for turkey, spiral cut ham, lasagna, mashed potatoes, yams, stuffing, cranberries, and gravy. Bonus? Your first drink is included.
Cost: $25 per person, but the pub mentioned on Facebook that if you or someone you know is struggling this year, or have no family or friends to spend the day with, dinner is on them. Very cool, Brooklyn Pub.
Luscious Food

Thanksgiving hours: 10am-1pm
Highlights: If they’re serving up the same stuff that they’re sending out for previously reserved orders, you’re in for mac n’ cheese, corn spoonbread, sautéed broccoli rabe, and a traditional turkey with gravy.

Highlights: An Israeli twist on the traditional turkey and a butternut squash soup with goat cheese and apple croutons.

If you love Thanksgiving dinner too much to relegate it to just one day, they’ll be serving a heaping plate of roast turkey, mashed potatoes, sausage stuffing, creamed spinach, and cranberry sauce every Wednesday until Turkey Day.
