Tell Me More! Manhattan Beach Park Showing Grease This Sunday For Drive-In Movie Night

Summer days may have drifted away, as well as the summer nights — oh-well-oh-well-oh-well-oh — but you can still have a retro movie experience by heading over to Manhattan Beach Park this Sunday for the drive-in movie screening of Grease.

Show up early to claim a spot. The gates open at 5:30pm at the park’s Irwin Street entrance (corner of Irwin Street and Oriental Boulevard). There will also be limited space available for people without a car to set up blankets and chairs.

Movie-goers will be given FM call numbers to tune their radios to upon arrival.

City Councilman Chaim Deutsch, who organized the drive-in movie night, will be handing out free popcorn before the show. People are also invited to bring their own food and beverages, though alcohol and smoking is not allowed. (Sorry, Frenchy).

For further information about the drive-in movie night, call Deutsch’s district office at 718-368-9176.
