Teenager Threatened Brighton Beach Child in Elevator, Stole iPhone
BRIGHTON BEACH – Police are seeking a teenage robber after he threatened a 9-year old and then stole his phone in an elevator last month.
According to police, around 2:30 pm on Wednesday, October 25, the suspect cornered a 9-year old boy in the elevator of his residential apartment building in Brighton Beach. He then threatened to kill the child, demanding his iPhone, said police. The boy complied and the robber fled, leaving the victim unharmed.
The incident was captured on security camera, seen below. Police describe the suspect as a black male in his late teens, with braids.
