The individual who stabbed a teenage boy on Argyle Road last Sunday night may know the ex-girlfriend of the victim, police sources say.
A 14-year-old boy, who was stabbed near 303 Argyle Road last Sunday night around 10pm, may have been targeted by his attacker because of a dispute involving the girl, a detective from the 70th Precinct told us.
The victim, who is from Ditmas Park, was on his way to a friend’s house when he was accosted by a black teenage male around the age of 16, police said. The boy was stabbed three times, twice in the right leg and once in the right arm.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, said police.
Video footage shown above — taken from a security camera at a neighbor’s house — shows two individuals running from Argyle Road onto Cortelyou Road at 10:22pm. When viewed on a large screen, the figure on the left, with the dark top, appears to have shoulder length hair or a ponytail of some sort.
[Editor’s note: The footage is time stamped 11:22pm, because the clock on the security camera is one hour ahead, the neighbor said.]
