2014 will be the first time in 12 years that New Yorkers will have a new mayor–and Talking Transition is hoping to connect constituents with mayor-elect Bill de Blasio as seamlessly as possible.

The organization aimed at making the questions, comments, and concerns of over 8 million New Yorkers heard is not only holding events at its Canal Street info tent until November 23–representatives are taking to the streets, too, and will be in Ditmas Park this afternoon.

From 12:30-2pm, you can find Talking Transition at 1025 Coney Island Avenue (between Foster and Parkville Avenues), discussing public schools, employment, affordable housing, police-community relations, accessible healthcare, and more.

Stop by if you can–and if not, be sure to leave your thoughts for the soon-to-be mayor at the Talking Transition website.
