This Thursday, January 30 at 6:30pm, the PS 321 Parents’ Diversity Committee is hosting a roundtable discussion called Gentrification in Brooklyn. A panel featuring three sociology professors from area colleges will:

…address the changes in our neighborhoods and the urban landscape, including racial, ethnic, and income demographics in Brooklyn. Panelists will weigh in on the causes and consequences of gentrification and the impacts on various groups and communities.

After the talk, they’ll open the floor to questions. The event will be held in the PS 321 auditorium at 180 7th Avenue, and it’s free and open to the public.
