What it takes to make it in Brooklyn (Sponsored)
Hundreds of Brooklyn builders, founders and entrepreneurs will come together at City Point for the Make It in Brooklyn Innovation Summit on September 28 to connect with Brooklyn’s best and brightest across many industries who have ‘made it’ in the borough.
It’s been said that there is no such thing as luck. Instead, luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. This summit was created for those entrepreneurs and business owners who know their business is ready to get to the next level, by getting them access to those individuals who have the connections and experience to take their company from ‘making it’ to ‘made.’
Divided into three parts, the summit kicks off with a real estate networking breakfast with Brooklyn’s top real estate titans, followed by a panel with two of the industry’s biggest names, followed by a talk around the role of a future street car in the Brooklyn-Queens innovation corridor. Tickets include a lunch hour of networking and sample dishes by top BK food startups, followed by an entrepreneurship afternoon that kicks off with a keynote on the heart of the hustle, followed by two panels bursting with practical advice about how startups and small businesses can maximize their success. The summit comes to a close with a pitch contest where five finalists will pitch for $5,000 for their business. To find out more about the Make It in Brooklyn Innovation Summit, visit
