Take the Express Bus Home Tonight

If you haven’t headed toward the subway yet, don’t. There’s a big fire at Dekalb that’s stopped B/Q service coming into Brooklyn.

The Q train is running in Brooklyn at the moment, but only between Prospect Park and Coney Island, so if you can get to Prospect Park via the Franklin Ave Shuttle, that’s an option.

It’s a pretty major problem, affecting several lines into and out of Brooklyn, including the F, though that might be a better option if you can try it. The 2/5 trains are also operating without delays, according to the MTA.

UPDATE, 7:30pm: Everything appears to be up and running again, though the Q is on the R line from Canal to Dekalb. Check mta.info for further updates.
