Taco Santo To Open February 1

Taco Santo, which is officially the name of the taqueria that’s replacing Fort Reno at 669 Union Street near 4th Avenue, has announced it will open for business on Saturday, February 1.

The owner, who also ran Fort Reno and currently runs Palo Santo, which is located just up the block at 652 Union St, made the switch fairly quickly, after closing the BBQ joint just before Christmas. In this new venture, they’ll be dishing up tacos on made-to-order tortillas, and will have a cocktail menu featuring a lot of mezcal.
