Sustainable Flatbush Will Hold Its Final Free Herbal Workshop Of The Season Tomorrow Morning

You can join Sustainable Flatbush and Sacred Vibes Apothecary for their last herbal workshop of the season tomorrow, October 4, at 10am at the Flatbush Reformed Church (East 21st Street at Kenmore Terrace).

The free workshop, titled “Heart and Soul Healing – Remedies for Growth and Transformation,” will include a discussion about heart healing plants that are grown here in Brooklyn.

“We will explore spiritual and physical healing possibilities with plant medicine, as well as culinary uses,” Sustainable Flatbush says on its website.

The event  will also include medicine making, so please bring a thoroughly cleaned two-ounce jar (such as a baby food jar) to take some home with you.

The group notes that it’s important to them that their workshops are accessible as possible. All the outdoor workshops are held in a space with no steps or stairs, but not all the walkways are paved. If you have accessibility concerns or needs, please email  kate.florence@gmail.com

To RSVP, or if you have any other questions, also send an email to kate.florence@gmail.com.
