Suspect Sought For Robbing Two Cabbies And Halal Truck Owner At Gunpoint

Cops are searching for a suspect wanted for robbing two livery car drivers and a food cart owner at gunpoint near 86th Street last week.

The man held up both cabbies on July 12, taking $100 from the first one on 86th Street near Bay 23rd Street at 2:45am, and snatching a wallet containing $500 and personal papers, at 4:15am, on 61st Street and 21st Avenue, police say.

Cops think the same suspect is responsible for robbing the owner of a halal cart on 86th Street and 20th Avenue on Sunday, July 17, at 3:45am. Police managed to obtain surveillance footage from that incident. Nothing was taken in that incident.

The suspect described as a Hispanic man, approximately 30 years old, 5 feet 5 inches, and 180 pounds.
