Suspect Posing As Repairman Sneaks Into Woman’s Apartment And Robs Her
SHEEPSHEAD BAY – The police are searching for the man seen in the photos below in connection to a recent burglary in Sheepshead Bay.
At approximately 12:05pm on Saturday, October 28, police say a 47-year-old woman discovered a strange man inside her apartment located near the intersection of Avenue V and 14th Street. When the woman confronted the man, he claimed that the building’s superintendent had sent him to her apartment to fix something, according to the police. The woman later discovered that the man had taken off with $500 and her cell phone.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 22- to 28-years-old. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers.
