UPDATE: Sunset Park Man Found Dead In His Bed, Suspect Arrested
UPDATE: Cops arrested 41-year-old Sam Chen on July 4th. He was charged with Murder and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
SUNSET PARK – A 45-year-old man is dead after being shot in his own bed last Friday.
On Friday, June 28, at around 12:34 p.m., cops found an unconscious and unresponsive man with two gunshot wounds to his head. The man was lying in his bed in his apartment located on 51st Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. As of this time, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. The NYPD has not released the name of the victim pending family notification. We will update once more information becomes available.
