Sunday’s Street Closure and Bus Schedule Changes For Flatbush Avenue Fair

Flatbush Avenue is going to be filled with thousands of street fair revelers this Sunday, which means lots of amazingness but also no driving and parking in the area. Three bus routes – the B12, B35, and B41 – will also be rerouted.

The Flatbush Avenue Business Improvement District is hosting its annual street fair on Sunday, June 29 from 10am to 8pm, and the extravaganza that includes rides, food and music will be held on Flatbush Avenue between Parkside Avenue and Cortelyou Road. The 70th Precinct has informed us that streets will be closed from 7am until 8pm Sunday, and there is no parking on Flatbush Avenue beginning Saturday evening.

Also, the B35, B41, and B12 buses will be rerouted for the fair.

There will be no B12 service on Clarkson Avenue between Bedford Avenue and Parkside Avenue from 7am to 9pm Sunday, June 29. Buses will operate between Alabama Avenue/East New York Avenue and Clarkson Avenue/Bedford Avenue.

B35 buses will be rerouted from Flatbush Avenue between Parkside Avenue and Cortelyou Road from 7am to 9pm Sunday as well. Buses will run via Cortelyou Road, making corresponding stops in both directions.

The B41 buses will be rerouted from Flatbush Avenue between Parkside Avenue and Cortelyou Road from 7am to 9pm Sunday. The buses will run via Ocean Avenue, making corresponding stops in both directions.
