Did you miss Sunset Park’s Lunar New Year Parade?

No worries. This Sunday, March 1, Bensonhurst will get its very own, first-ever Lunar New Year parade and festival on 18th Avenue, between 65th Street and 73rd Street. The festivities will include a Lion Dance, a Dragon Dance, live performances, free gifts, and more.

The parade will march up 18th Avenue at 1pm and at 2pm the festival will take place inside the Salvation Army building (7309-7321 18th Avenue) on the 2nd floor.

The event was organized by the Asian Community United Society, with support from Community Board 11, CEC 20, NYPD 62nd Precinct, the Office of Councilman Mark Treyger, and members of the community.

Come celebrate the year of the sheep! Hope to see you there!
