One hundred lucky thrill seekers will get to ride Luna Park’s Thunderbolt this weekend completely free of charge.

The amusement park is celebrating the second anniversary of the iconic ride this Sunday, June 12, between 2pm and 4pm.

The roller coaster, which first opened in 2014, provides a two-minute adventure with a hair-raising 90-degree vertical drop, hurling the rider at speeds up to 55 miles per hour over a course highlighted by a 100-foot vertical loop.

Angela Yee, the host of Power 105.1’s morning show The Breakfast Club, will be in attendance for a fan meet and greet, and to welcome guests to New York City’s largest amusement park.

Though the Thunderbolt is only two years old this June, it is a modern incarnation of the original wooden roller coaster of the same name that was operated by George Moran on Coney Island from 1925 to 1982.
