Summer Of 311 Map Shows That Slopers Hate Those Loud Parties
If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “what is the most common reason people in our area call 311,” NYU’s Furman Center has a map for you.
The group compiled data between June and August of 2012 to see what issues brought city dwellers to the boiling point last summer. In Park Slope/Gowanus, the top three reasons for calling 311 were listed as:
1. Loud music/parties
2. Street light out
3. Rat sightings (eww)
