Drumming, gymnastics, art, language immersion – Which summer camp suits your child?

Summer camp can be a great time for kids to learn and have new experiences.  Whether it be African drumming and dance, gymnastics, film design, arts & crafts, learning a new language or just being outside playing, swimming and making new friends.  There are lots of camp options across Brooklyn.  Here are just a few:

via Cumbe

CUMBE – Center for African and Diaspora Dance
1368 Fulton Street
Brooklyn, NY 11216
(718) 935-9700

At Cumbe’s Dance, Drum & Imagination Summer camp, the goal is to tap into children’s amazing capacity for imagination and wonder, while introducing them to the joy and vitality of dance, song, and rhythms of Africa and its Diaspora.
This intimate camp includes cohorts of 14 students, empowering teachers to properly serve your child. Campers will learn how to work with others, exchange ideas and create a production they are proud to share. At the end of each two-week session, campers and instructors put on a show demonstrating all they’ve done.
