Subway Service Rundown: This Weekend’s Confusing Transit Disruptions On The 3, 4, C, N & R Lines
Below you’ll find Fort Greene and Clinton Hill subway changes over the weekend on the 2, 3, 4, 5, A, B, C, D, G, N, Q and R lines in Brooklyn, plus the Franklin Avenue. Check back here Monday to see what’s happening next week.
3 Line
3 train Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue stations are closed for renovations.
All times, until late October 2015.
Trains skip Rockaway and Van Siclen avenues in both directions.
Travel Alternatives
For Rockaway Avenue: Use the Saratoga Avenue or Junius Street stations instead. Shuttle bus service operates between Rockaway Avenue and Saratoga Avenue.
Transfer between trains and shuttle buses with MetroCard at Saratoga Avenue.
B60 customers can transfer to/from shuttle buses at Rockaway Avenue.
4 Line
Woodlawn-bound 4 trains run local from Utica Avenue to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center.
Weekend, 12:01am Saturday to 5am Monday, October 10-12.
Please allow additional travel time.

No A or C service at Spring Street, Canal Street, Chambers Street, Fulton Street and High Street.
Travel Alternatives
For Spring Street, Canal Street, and Chambers Street, take the E instead. Transfer between trains at West 4th Street.
For Fulton Street, take the J instead. Transfer between trains at Delancey Street/Essex Street F station. Or, take the E at the nearby World Trade Center station. Transfer between trains at West 4th Street.
For High Street, use the nearby York Street F train station instead.
E trains stop at the F platform during this time.
Note: This weekend service change will run periodically through late 2016.
N Line
Astoria-bound N trains run express from 59th Street to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center.
Late nights, 11:45pm Friday to 5am Monday, October 9-12.
Trains stop at 36th Street.
For service to 53rd and 45th streets, take the N to 36th Street and transfer to a Coney Island-bound N.
For service from these stations, take the N to 59th Street and transfer to an Astoria-bound N.
For service to 25th Street, Prospect Avenue, 4th Avenue-9th Street and Union Street, take the N to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D or N.
For service from these stations, take the D or N to 36th Street and transfer to an Astoria-bound N.
R Line
Manhattan-bound R trains run express from 59th Street to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center.
Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, October 10-11.
For service to 53rd and 45th streets, take the R to 36th Street and transfer to a Bay Ridge-bound R.
For service from these stations, take the R to 59th Street and transfer to a Manhattan-bound R.
For service to 25th Street, Prospect Avenue, 4th Avenue-9th Street and Union Street, take the R to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and transfer to a Bay Ridge-bound R.
For service from these stations, take the R to 36th Street and transfer to a Manhattan-bound R.
No shuttle R train between 59th Street and 36th Street. N trains provide alternate service.
