Subway Service Rundown: A Little A/C Trouble, But Otherwise A Smooth Ride On The Rails This Weekend

Not too bad a weekend for getting around by public transportation — which is good, because if you were thinking about driving, remember, there’s a marathon

Below you’ll find Fort Greene and Clinton Hill subway changes over the weekend on the 2, 3, 4, 5, A, B, C, D, G, N, Q and R lines in Brooklyn, plus the Franklin Avenue.

A & C Lines

A & C trains run via the F in both directions between W 4 St and Jay St-MetroTech
Weekend, 11:45pm Saturday to 5am Monday, October 31-November 2
A trains run local in both directions between 59 St-Columbus Circle and W 4 St.
No A or C service at Spring, Canal, Chambers, Fulton and High Sts.
Travel Alternatives
For Spring, Canal, and Chambers Sts, take the E instead. Transfer between trains at W 4 St.
For Fulton St, take the J instead. Transfer between trains at Delancey St/Essex St F station. Or, take the E at nearby World Trade Center Station. Transfer between trains at W 4 St.
For High St, use the nearby York St F Station instead.
Note: This weekend service change will run periodically through late 2016.
