Subway Service Rundown: An Onslaught Of Disruptions On The 3, 4, A, D, N, Q, R Lines This Week

Below you’ll find Fort Greene and Clinton Hill subway changes this week on the 2, 3, 4, 5, A, B, C, D, G, N, Q, and R lines in Brooklyn, plus the Franklin Avenue shuttle. Check back later this week to see what’s happening this weekend. Changes via MTA.info.

3 Line

Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue 3 train stations are closed for renovation.
All times, until late October 2015.
Trains skip Rockaway and Van Siclen avenues in both directions.
To get to Rockaway Avenue, use the Saratoga Avenue or Junius Street stations instead.
To get to Van Siclen Avenue, use the Pennsylvania Avenue or New Lots Avenue stations instead.

4 Line

Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue 4 train stations are closed for renovation.
All times, until late October 2015.
Trains skip Rockaway and Van Siclen avenues in both directions.
To get to Rockaway Avenue, use the Saratoga Avenue or Junius Street stations instead.
To get to Van Siclen Avenue, use the Pennsylvania Avenue or New Lots Avenue stations instead.

A Line

Inwood-bound A trains skip Kingston-Throop, Franklin, Clinton-Washington and Lafayette avenues.
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, October 12-16.
For service to these stations, take the A to Hoyt-Schermerhorn and transfer to a Euclid Avenue-bound* A.
For service from these stations, take the A to Utica Avenue and transfer to an Inwood-bound A.
*This detour has taken into account additional planned service changes.
Alternate travel note: Transfer between trains with Unlimited Ride MetroCard at Nostrand Avenue.
No A trains between Euclid Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service.
Late nights, 12:01am to 5am, Tuesday to Friday, October 13-16, October 20-23.
A train service operates in two sections:
Between 207th Street and Euclid Avenue
Between Rockaway Boulevard and Mott Avenue, every 20 minutes
Travel Alternatives
Shuttle buses operate between Euclid Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard, making stops at Grant Avenue, 80th Street, 88th Street, Rockaway Boulevard, 104th Street, and 111th Street.
Transfer between trains and shuttle buses at Euclid Avenue and/or Rockaway Boulevard.

D Line

Coney Island-bound D trains skip DeKalb Avenue, Union Street, 4th Avenue-9th Street, Prospect Avenue and 25th Street.
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, October 12-16.
For service to DeKalb Avenue, take the D to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and transfer to a Manhattan-bound D, N or Q.
For service from this station, take the Q to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and transfer to the D.
For service to Union Street, 4th Avenue-9th Street, Prospect Avenue and 25th Street, take the D to 36th Street and transfer to a Manhattan-bound D or N.
For service from these stations, take the D or N to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D.

N Line

Coney Island-bound N trains run express from Canal Street to 36th Street via the Manhattan Bridge.
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, October 12-16.
Trains stop at Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center.
For City Hall, Cortlandt Street, Rector Street, Whitehall Street, Court Street, Jay Street-MetroTech and DeKalb Avenue, take the Q*.
Transfer between N and Q trains at Canal Street or Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center.
For service to Union Street, 4th Avenue-9th Street, Prospect Avenue and 25th Street, take the N to 36th Street and transfer to a Manhattan-bound D or N.
For service from these stations, take the D or N to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and transfer to a Coney Island-bound N.
*This detour has taken into account additional planned service changes.
Alternate travel note:
For service to Court Street, Jay Street-MetroTech and DeKalb Avenue, take the N to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and transfer to an Astoria-bound N.

Q Line

Coney Island-bound Q trains run via the R from Canal Street to DeKalb Avenue.
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, October 12-16.
Trains stop at City Hall, Cortlandt Street, Rector Street, Whitehall Street, Court Street and Jay Street-MetroTech.
Please allow additional travel time.

R Line

No shuttle R train between 36th Street and 59th Street. N trains provide alternate service.
Late nights, 11:45pm to 5am, until Friday, November 6 (except 11:45pm Monday to 5am Tuesday, October 19-20).
R service operates between 59th Street and 95th Street.  Transfer between N and R trains at 59th Street.
