Subway Menace Tries to Grab Child in Bushwick

BUSHWICK – Police are looking for a man who menaced an 11-year old boy at Myrtle-Wyckoff Station on Tuesday, grabbing him by the arm telling the child he was “going to get him.”

The incident occurred around 8:30 am on Tuesday, September 26, as the boy was boarding a Queens-bound M train, said police.

The man grabbed the child by the arm, preventing him from boarding the train. When the 11-year old fled, the man followed, said police. At the L train platform, the boy found a woman who let him use her cellphone to call the cops.

Before they could arrive, the man in question boarded a Queens-bound M and disappeared, said police.

The man, seen in surveillance video above, is described by NYPD as Hispanic, in his 30s, around 5’10” tall. He was last seen wearing black shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
