Submit Your Ideas for Participatory Budgeting Projects in District 33

While most of the neighborhood got to enjoy the democracy of deciding where to spend $1 million of Council Member Brad Lander’s budget last year, a large area was sadly left out of the fun.

That changes this year, as Council Member Stephen Levin, whose District 33 represents a part of North Park Slope, as well as parts of Brooklyn Heights, Williamsburg, and more, has joined the participatory budgeting process.

His first neighborhood assembly in our area is coming up on Wednesday, October 24 from 6:30-9:30pm at the Old First Reformed Church, 729 Carroll Street at 7th Ave.

You can also enter ideas online for projects you think need funding – so far, there is just one in the district, so get typing!

For more information, contact Council Member Levin’s office at district33pb@gmail.com or 718-875-5200.
