On Stage At Kingsborough’s “Insider’s Look” Series Presents Open Rehearsal For “Cool Hand Luke”
As part of On Stage At Kingsborough’s “Insider’s Look” series, the Drama Desk Award-winning Godlight Theatre Company will conduct an open rehearsal for the world premiere of Emma Reeve’s stage adaptation of Donn Pearce’s searing novel, “Cool Hand Luke,” this Thursday, January 29, 7:00pm at Kingsborough, Kingsborough Community College, 2001 Oriental Boulevard.
The On Stage At Kingsborough’s “Insider’s Look” series features world-class artists in open rehearsals followed by a creative discussion between artists and audience.
According to Executive Director Anna Becker, “We are incredibly excited to have Godlight Theatre back after last year’s highly successful production of ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.’ Our Insider’s Look presentations are always thrilling because audience members are able to get so close to the performers and get a real peek at the creative process. When they return for the World Premiere they will be true insider’s to the show’s creation.”
The world premiere presentation of “Cool Hand Luke” will be held Saturday, March 28 at 8:00pm.
Admission to Insider’s Look events are free and reservations are not required. There is ample free parking on the campus and box office hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
