Spring Break Checklist
Spring break starts Monday. This weekend is the time to buy last minute goodies to pack in your camper’s backpack. Here is what you’ll need:
- Water–Fill your camper’s reusable, spill-proof bottle the night before and stick it in the fridge.
- Snack–Most camps supply snacks. Even so, tucking healthy treats into the backpack gives your camper options. Plus food will be available when you pick up your worn out, hungry camper. Apples, oranges, and carrots transport well and don’t need refrigeration.
- Lunch–Double check whether or not you camp provides lunch. Even if it does, its a good idea to pack something you know your little camper will eat.
- Hand sanitizer–Some people like alcohol gel to rid little hands of germs. Another option is sealing baby wipes in a sandwich bag.
- Extra socks–Dry feet are vital for a good day.
- Extra clothes–Depending on the age of your camper, extra clothes may be mandatory.
The most important item a camper needs can’t be put in the backpack: a hug!
