Special MLK Jr. Discussion For Kids At Lefferts House Monday
If you’re looking for a way to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day with the kids on Monday, January 20, consider visiting Lefferts Historic House for Community Conversations with Kids: A Conversation About Service and the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Sponsored by New York Council for the Humanities, and geared toward children in elementary through middle school, the talk, which takes place from 1pm to 3pm, begins with a reading of Martin’s Big Words, followed by a facilitated group discussion on service, freedom and democracy. Admission is free.
