Ever crave a little magic with your coffee? You may just be in luck.

Southside Coffee at 652 6th Avenue (at 19th Street) has the paper up on its windows, but a sign posted on the front door makes the temporary closing intriguing.

The sign tells us that the closure will take place through September 6, and the reason is for “cleaning, painting & other magic.”

We’ve reached out to Ben Jones, one of the owners of Southside, which two years ago was named one of the best coffee shops in Brooklyn. He emailed us to say he’ll be letting the community know soon about what’s in store.

Based on their track record, we’re looking forward to the re-opening on September 7.
