The holiday season has arrived, and with everything from giant menorahs and tree lightings, to soup kitchens and booze soaked standards, folks in the Slope won’t have to go far for fun. Here are some of our favorite weekday events from around the area.
For even more things to do around Brooklyn, and to add your own upcoming events (some of which we’ll feature in this roundup in the future!), check out our calendar.

Food is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and all are welcome. It’s not all about the food, though. Guests can also look forward to an artistic element from the evening’s host.
