Don’t wait until the weekend for a little neighborhood fun! Here’s a few of the Halloween-themed events that are already popping up in our area through Wednesday:

Strangers On A Train
When: Monday, October 21, 9pm
Where: Bar Toto, 411 11th Street at 6th Avenue
What: Nothing gets you in the Halloween spirit like a little Alfred Hitchcock, so make your way to Bar Toto tonight for Strangers on a  Train.
How much: Free!

Pushing up Daisies: Trivia from the Dark Side
When: Tuesday, October 22, 7pm
Where: Brooklyn Historical Society, 128 Pierrepont Street
What: Things are getting spooky at The Brooklyn Historical Society on Tuesday as they team up with our very own Green-Wood Cemetery for some graveyard-themed trivia. Trivia Masters Chris Kelley and Stuart Post will guide teams of up to six players through an evening of “questions, movie clips, pop music snippets, visual clues and some macabre surprises.” Prizes will be awarded to the top teams. How much: $10 for Green-Wood/Brooklyn Historical Society Members and $15 for non-members. Ticket price include one free drink, though!

Pumpkin Decorating Party
When: Wednesday, October 23, 2pm to 5pm
Where: Greenwood Park, 7th Avenue, between 19th and 20th Street
What: Bring the kids out the Greenwood Park for an afternoon of pumpkin painting, treats and Halloween fun.
How much: Free!
