Don’t wait until the weekend for a little neighborhood fun! Here’s a few of the events that are happening in our area through Wednesday:

Cards Against Humanity at The Fifth Estate
When: Monday, October 14, 8pm til…
Where: 506 5th Avenue, between 11th and 12th Street
What: Grab some friends and head over to The Fifth Estate for Cards Against Humanity. The game is like Apples to Apples for adults, and although we’re not cool enough to have played, it’s supposed to be a riot.
How much: Free!

Open Mic at Supercollider
When: Tuesday, October 15, 8pm til close
Where: 609 4th Avenue between 17th and 18th Street
What: There’s a new open mic in town, hosted by Mike O’Malley. Signup starts at 7:30pm and continues throughout the night. Performers get up to 3 songs (or 15 minutes of stage time). Happy hours are from 8pm to 9pm and 12pm to 1am. Look for buy-one-get-one wells, $1 off all drafts, and $6 bottle/can with a shot.

Wednesday Night Music at Freddy’s
When: Wednesday, October 16, 8pm
Where: 627 5th Avenue, between 17th and 18th Street
What: Celebrate hump day with some music at Freddy’s. Heavy Duty Super Ego kicks things off at 8pm, followed by Sol Cat at 9pm, and Johnnie Lee Jordan at 10pm.
How much: Free!
