South Slope Stoop Sales: May 11-12

Warm weather + lack of storage space = STOOP SALES!

Although the rain coming down outside isn’t ideal for Stoop Sales, we did spot one in the area scheduled to take place on Saturday. It never hurts to check it out, but we have a feeling it might be rescheduled.

The Southwest corner of 9th Street (near 7th Ave) has some “nick knacks, paddy whacks, kitchen stools, a home espresso maker, a microwave, posters, frames, decorative items, some books, and other thing-a-ma-bobs.” The sale is scheduled from 9am to whenever they decide to close.

Sunday should be a better day for the folks selling their wares on the south side of 13th Street (between 7th and 8th Ave). Look for brand new bath and hand towels, new kitchen and bedroom curtains, new wine glasses, women’s travel bags, necklaces, dresses, crib bedding, a girl’s lamp, and a child’s chair. The sale is scheduled from 10am to 1pm.
