Free Beer, Giveaways And A Tool Tribute Band
When: Thursday, October 10, 9pm
Where: Brooklyn Pub, 6th Avenue at 20th Street
What: Head over to Brooklyn Pub Thursday night for a performance by Tool tribute band, SCHISM. Also look for the Dos Equis beer crew, who will hand out free beer and other prizes.

South Slope Bands Take On Littlefield
When: Friday, October 11, 8:30pm (doors open at 8pm)
Where: Littlefield, 622 Degraw Street, between 3rd and 4th Avenue
What: Come show a little local love to South Slope bands, Parade Grounds (shown above, who is celebrating the release of a new video) and Gypsy George & the Open Road Love Affair, as they join The Yellow Letter this Friday at Littlefield. Hosted by The Ghouligans!

Park Slope/Windsor Terrace Artists’ Group Open Studio Tour
When: Saturday, October 12 – Monday October 14, 12pm to 6pm
Where: Various locations. See map for details.
What: Meet your artistic neighbors in this weekend’s open studio tour, see their work, ask them questions, and maybe even find a piece to add to your collection. Participating artists include: Bob Hagan, Bernette Rudolph, Darcy Lynn/Lloyd Campbell, Joy Walker, Robin Epstein, Philip De Loach, Janie Samuels, Grace Markman, and Tom Keough/David Listokin.

The Walking Dead

Where: Supercollider, 4th Avenue, between 17th and 18th Street
What: The Walking Dead returns this Sunday, and Supercollider is pairing the premiere with a few “horribly good cocktails.”
